Catch up on the DIY Home Finish

And it happened!  We finished the floors!

Alot of "final" things happening. We had out refrigerator installed. 

What is a cabin in the woods without a cedar log bed! This bed came in two packages and we were able to fairly easily put it together. 

Next is a series of photos of our shower install. Steps: install mortar with base slope for good water drainage layer rubber membrane to seal the bottom of the shower pan. Mortar pan on top of rubber membrane before installing tiles. Install cut pebble tiles. Grouted in floor tiles.

The walls were built out with a layer of tar paper, cement backerboard, thinset on seams then sealing tape and water proofing. The wall tiles will be next on the list.
